  1. Your initial career milestones were that in the field of core management profiles. What inspired you to switch the role to an altogether different & new segment, Parenting Education?
Throughout my professional career of 18 years in the corporate world, I have worked across the Manufacturing, Venture Capital Financing, Banking, Insurance and Education & Training industries. In my last stint as VP, Max Life Insurance I was managing operations & customer services at all the sales offices across the country. I have trained over 1000 employees in Change Management, Process optimization and new Process Projects in various Corporates.  From not wanting to be a parent to being a parent coach to more than 2 lac parents across the globe started from the belief – that ‘I don’t know parenting’ – the quest to figure out the process to bring joy and fulfilment in my own parenting journey while being able to support children to access & unleash their limitless potential led me to continuous research and implementation of the model, which evolved in the last 20 years! The passion to make a difference to every parent & child pushed me to quit my flourishing career and take this plunge of setting up an institute of Parenting.
  1. How well would you describe yourself as a leading Parenting & Teacher Coach?
The 20+ years of research, development and practice has established Me and Parwarish as a Specialist in the field of Child Development & Growth. In the last 12 years, the work done in the field and the recognitions speak for themselves.
  1. Are the modern-day parents ready enough to understand the concept of nurturing the ‘Limitless Potential’ of their children?
The concept of Nurturing the ‘limitless potential’ of children is very simply presented. Parents and teachers go through our experiential sessions to get the value for first themselves and then the tools to implement with their children. Parents from the Bheel Community to rural, slum dwellers to parents in privileged segment of the society have benefitted from these tools in the last 12 years.  The biggest barrier to break, to understand and implement the Parwarish Child Development Model is the mindset that Parenting is a well-researched & developed Science (and Art) which does not come naturally. It is something that needs to be consciously acquired, vs. we operating from our subconscious beliefs acquired purely through our experience.
  1. Today, Digital exposure is the biggest cause of peer pressure. What are your opinions on this?
I won’t call it the biggest cause but it’s the most damaging medium of peer pressure. Bullying, comparisons, ganging up, exposure to sexual content, drugs, alcohol etc. which was limited to certain times and places is now haunting us 24 x 7 on our personal handsets. Children and Parents generally don’t have an idea on the extent of the damage and also don’t have the where-with-all to manage these.
  1. What all challenges helped you grow in this profession?
  • At one level the entire world is a market for this education, everyone is a child or a parent. However, creating an awareness has been one of the biggest challenges. In 2008 when I started – I was a laughing stock and told not to work with parents/teachers as the belief was that they would not agree to this concept.
  • The resistance faced from the schooling industry and the parents to agree to learn the art of parenting and child development created a want in me and my team to swim against the tide.
  • Creation of the ‘Parwarish Child Development Model’, which is based on painstaking, slow, rigorous research with thousands of parents, children and teachers. It’s taken me along with my Co-Founders and Coaches 20 years to fine tune it and bring about the current level of efficacy.
  • Training and building the capacity of others in the team to conduct the programs with the same level of efficacy and results for children.
