Mumbai

The majority of the Punjabis in Mumbai come from the North West Frontier Province, now part of Pakistan. Most refugees began earning their livelihood by opening restaurants, getting a foothold in the city’s cloth trade, or automobile business. Some flamboyant Punjabis ended up in Bollywood. Now the 4th generation descendants of refugees from the former NWFP and Punjab grow up in the city they call home. PCC Mumbai aims to strengthen the Punjabi community through relationship building, professional development, mentorship and volunteering initiatives. For More Details contact info@punjabiChamber.com
